Orson - No Tomorrow (Album : Bright Idea)

偶爾也會想知道現金樂壇在流行什麼…
還沒有過來，在英國的那一邊。

大概就比較像是Matchbox 20的主唱Rob Thomas和Santana合作的Smooth那種搖滾。
我暫時也只是想到這樣，不過這樣說應該是抬舉了Orson才是吧。
我會這樣說，是因為這首歌的流暢性就是這麼像啊，隨著音樂而擺動的隨著歌詞而起伏的聲音情感。
因為我還覺得主唱Jason的聲音很熟悉，很像是…，還沒有想到耶，但是絕對不是Thomas。

前奏的鼓聲，會讓我想起來，我也曾經踩的不怎麼好的大鼓…。
但是那種只有大鼓的聲音，卻如今還是這麼純粹著，
那是不能踩亂的節奏。

單曲發行的首週往往是銷售量最高的一週；
因此，首週的名次通常也決定了歌曲在英國金榜上的最高名次。
2006年3月，擁有雙吉他手編制的搖滾新銳Orson/歐森合唱團硬是打破這項定律，
樂團初試啼聲的單曲“No Tomorrow”上市首週空降No.5，隔週攀升至亞軍，

擅長用鋼琴創作的主唱Jason Pebworth從小聆聽Hall & Oates、The Doobie Brothers、Steely Dan等軟式搖滾，以及曼菲斯和費城的靈魂樂，第一張購買的專輯是皇后合唱團的「The Game」，
大學時期愛上的Nirvana則激發了他自組樂團的夢想！2000年，Jason Pebworth和吉他手George Astasio在加州好萊塢號召好友Kevin Roentgen (吉他手)、Johnny Bentjen (貝斯手)、Christopher Cano (鼓手)正式組成Orson。團名的靈感則來自五位團員都非常崇拜的影壇巨擘Orson Welles，
確定團名之前他們在好萊塢一家餐廳巧合的發現以Orson Welles為名的三明治，
於是Orson這個響亮的名字順利拍板定案！
他們在英國In The City活動上首度公開現場表演時立即贏得環球音樂的驚歎，當場獲得簽約發片機會。
