英倫搖滾巨星放蕩樂團The Libertine重組Dirty Pretty Things 台灣首演確認，野台震撼彈!!


　　7月28/29/30將在台北市立兒童育樂中心盛大展開的第十二屆野台開唱音樂祭，今年再次邀請了百餘國內外知名的樂團與音樂人做馬拉松式精彩演出，過去數個月來相繼公佈英國超多毛動物（Super Furry Animals）、日本相川七賴、Kemuri、香港的林一峰、台灣旺福、1976、濁水溪公社、潑猴、林強、何欣穗、張懸…等，全園區八大舞臺主題區，橫跨多種音樂風格的表演輪番上陣，是暑假好玩又具深度的音樂藝文活動。


　　巨星The Libertines放蕩樂團重組Dirty Pretty Things，站穩野台開唱表演陣頭！


　　繼前幾波國外藝人表演名單公佈之後，最終壓陣國外藝人確定，由英國搖滾巨星放蕩樂團（The Libertines） 首腦人物Carl Barat重整旗鼓、全新出發後的美麗壞東西樂團（Dirty Pretty Things）作為今年野台開唱國際級藝人的重量壓軸。


　　2002年，由雙主唱Carl Barat與Pete Doherty領軍的The Libertines首度在英國樂壇發聲，即獲得廣大樂迷的支持簇擁和專業樂評的空前好評，Spin、NME、MOJO、The Face等國際指標雜誌不約而同將他們的首航專輯「Up The Bracket」評選為年度最佳專輯。2004年，The Libertines祭出第二張作品，單曲「Can't Stand Me Now」拿下英國流行金榜亞軍，專輯則登上冠軍，隨即在UNCUT、Q、NME雜誌獲得樂評特優評鑑，成為近年來叫好又叫座的搖滾巨星。


　　隨著高知名度，兩位主唱間的緊張關係、團員嚴重的毒癮問題和緋聞隨即成為媒體八卦的焦點；尤其Pete Doherty與名模女友凱特摩斯（Kate Moss）於私人派對上服用古柯鹼被狗仔隊抓包的新聞更鬧的沸沸湯湯，疲於回應媒體追逐的創團元老Carl Barat厭煩了這一切的紛擾，與鼓手Gary Powell重新整軍，延續The Libertines的流行龐克風格，專心於音樂創作，邀來Cooper Temple Clause貝斯手Didz Hammond與取代Peter Doherty的吉他手Anthony Rossomando，定名為Dirty Pretty Things（美麗壞東西）樂團，為音樂事業開展新的視野與形象。


　　2005年11月，Dirty Pretty Things與知名製作人Dave Sardy (Oasis、Jet)以及Tony Doogan (Belle And Sebastian、Mogwai)合作推出最新專輯「Waterloo To Anywhere/從滑鐵盧出發」。NME雜誌再次給予極高評價，形容本專極「聰明、老練、具備絕對的搖滾韌性」；隨即展開全英巡迴演唱會，並宣布2006年夏天與嗆辣紅椒（Red Hot Chilli Pepper）的聯合演唱會，再次將其搖滾生涯推上新的高潮，成功繼承了The Libertines的巔峰狀態。


　　Dirty Pretty Things今年在日本富士音樂祭演出後，已正式確認將在週日站上野台開唱風舞台，為全台搖滾樂迷投下震撼彈！
